On the Ball Scrapbook - Part 12...

150m.com has stopped working again, so no checklist available again for the moment.

Onward, we are into the World Cup year of 1978 and this batch contains a feature on the great Pele, also MOTD pundit Trevor Brooking makes an appearance in his playing days. No.4 from 1978 is missing it's poster, if you can help...

1973 No.25 and 1981 No.37...

...and so the beginning of the end, we have here the last old style format issue from 1981, No.37.  Although not the last painted cover ever seen, Look-in would now have photographic covers in the main from the next issue in an attempt to try to compete with Smash Hits.  The strip content would decline very soon too, and the comic would become a mere shadow of itself but, I hasten to add, it would not lose popularity for a couple of years yet.  Also here is No.25 from 1973, this is of course one of Dan's.  Both issues are complete...
