Here are another couple of bonus issues courtesy of Scanarama.  There is the Look-in TV comedy Annual which has three strips and also there is the 1979 Annual, when Look-in went into lazy mode.  There were only 2 strips in the 1978 annual, but at least they were original.  This one has a Benny Hill strip and an abridged version of the very first Space: 1999 strip from the comic, sadly these abridged type strips were to continue for a bit....see you Saturday.

Look-in games...

I had a message from Alan a few weeks back, asking about two games that were given with the 18th January 1975 issue.  Well, having put the feelers out Dan has come back with this page about the games.  As mentioned, there were two games, the first one was an On The Ball soccer game, which looks similar to a game you could buy around that time, and the other was a music game called the Top 100 game.  They were played by the use of a contraption called the Letteromic random number selector, another example of a really cheap free gift that Look-in seemed to be famous for.

Also here is a pullout teaser for the Mark strong Strip which was given in the 29th July 1972 issue, again courtesy of Dan.

Saturday 14 November 2015

here we are at the start of a packed weekend. Two more off the conveyor belt, we have No.36 from 1978 and also No.49 from 1980.  The 1980 issue has the first in a new story for Charlie's Angels, it's in B/W, although it is in the first colour strip position, this is because in the next issue, Buck Rogers is moved to the colour position, so the publishers probably thought it best to start the Angels strip in B/W if it was to continue that way. This is also the last 1980 issue for now, on to 1981 next update.  Both issues are mine and complete.

Join me tomorrow, for next part of Timeslip - The Whole Story, and there'll be more One Pagers on Monday.
